About low-carb, ketogenic diets & intermittent fasting
I believe in the power of a low-carb diet to transform your health and well-being. Low-carb diets are characterised by a daily intake of less than 130g of carbohydrates, focusing on real, whole foods.
By eliminating unhealthy items like simple sugars, refined carbohydrates, and ultra-processed foods, low-carb diets provide numerous benefits to our health & wellbeing.
I also specialise in the keto diet, which involves an extremely low intake of carbs, typically less than 50g per day. This diet allows your body to enter a state of ketosis, where it primarily burns fat for energy. The keto diet has gained popularity due to its therapeutic benefits and can be tailored to your specific needs.
My strategy uses intermittent fasting which is an amazing approach which help to tackle several health problems and promotes high energy level, healthy body and mind & longevity. I have been practising several forms of intermittent fasting myself for many years. Fasting is a very individual approach. I help my clients to find their own best way to implementing fasting in their life.

Over four decades ago, I began experiencing intense abdominal cramps that left me searching for answers. Despite countless visits to doctors, all I received was diagnosis of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and painkillers to alleviate the symptoms.
Meanwhile, my health continued to deteriorate. It was during this challenging time that a glimmer of hope appeared in the form of advice from friends, a low-carb diet.
Desperate for relief, I decided to give it a try. To my amazement, the excruciating cramps vanished almost immediately. However, my journey didn't end there. I attempted to reintroduce some "yummy carbs" into my diet on multiple occasions, only to find that they triggered a return of my digestive problems.
Through years of trial and self-education, I eventually discerned which carbohydrates were detrimental to my health and which were safe to consume.
Additionally, I suffered from Reynolds disease, for which medical doctors also provided no solutions either.
It wasn't until I committed to a low-carb diet for approximately six months that I noticed a significant improvement also in my Reynolds symptoms. Moreover, given my family's history of type 2 diabetes and heart diseases, following a low-carb diet has enabled me to maintain metabolic health.
Now, three decades later, I’m a content and vibrant over 60-year-old woman who has spent the majority of her life free from pain and health issues, all thanks to the power of appropriate nutrition.
Inspired by my personal success, I pursued higher education in nutrition and health, equipping myself with the knowledge and expertise to share with others. It brings me great joy to empower individuals on their own transformative journeys toward improved well-being through the incredible impact of food.
